Dr. Marcolini practices Emergency Medicine and Neurocritical Care at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire. She is a member of the ACEP Academic Affairs Committee, and a past Chair of the Critical Care Section. She is a national and international speaker, and passionate about the role of the Emergency Physician in improving outcome for patients with acute neurologic illness and injury. Dr. Marcolini divides her clinical time between the Emergency Department and the Neurosciences ICU. She is active as a clinical ethics consultant and teaches at the Sherwin B. Nuland Summer Institute in Bioethics at Yale University. She also teaches in the field of Wilderness Medicine. She is an advisory board member of the American Foundation for Firearm Injury Reduction in Medicine (AFFIRM), and a member of Board of Directors for American Academy of Emergency Medicine.
