Jaime Hope, MD

Dr. Jaime Hope is an attending physician at Beaumont Health Royal Oak’s Level 1 Trauma Tertiary Care Center, one of the busiest in the country.  To expand her depth and breadth of clinical practice, she also provides health care at the rural critical access hospital in Harbor Beach, MI.

Dr. Hope is an Assistant Professor at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.  She is an enthusiastic educator and particularly enjoys teaching in the Promotion and Maintenance of Health course for future physicians.  Her highly-rated workshops include Behavior Change and Motivational Interviewing.  She is the faculty advisor for the Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group and has helped spearhead multiple community service projects.  Her efforts and dedication to her students led her to receive the nomination for the 2018 Arnold P Gold National Humanism Award.

She is a graduate of the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine class of 2005 and completed residency at Beaumont Health, Royal Oak.   Dr. Hope serves on the Patient Experience Committee, the Human Trafficking Task Force, the BMG Service Excellence Committee and is passionate about promoting good patient-physician relationships.  In addition to clinical medicine topics, she has done national lectures on The Compassionate and Competent Care of Underserved Patient Populations, Confidence and the Imposter Syndrome, Resilience, and Healthy Habit Creation and Maintenance!

She is a guest writer for Emergency Physicians Monthly and has been a guest on EM:RAP, UC:RAP, as well as doing UC Boot Camp and EM Board Review recordings for the esteemed HIPPO education group.  She spoke at Essentials of Emergency Medicine and ACOEP in 2019, and has been invited back to speak at both conferences in 2019, along with MOA, Rebellion in EM, and grand rounds at hospitals across the country.

Dr. Hope has been an invited lecturer across the country on a variety of medical and health related topics.  She has done Board Review educational courses, Grand Rounds, podcasts, press conferences, mastermind courses, radio and television appearances in addition to her many live audience sessions.  She was invited to 45 talks in 2018 and is being booked into late 2019!

Dr. Hope is passionate about helping patients and physicians improve their habits, their health, their resilience, their confidence, and their lives!
